The article spotlights EU-funded initiatives in Austria and highlights the European Union’s substantial commitment to research via the Horizon Europe program, with a special focus on successful projects like our SQUEEZE.
A remarkable 600 million euros have flowed into Austria thanks to this program, supporting research across diverse fields, from climate change to health issues.
SQUEEZE is intended to lead to a holistic improvement in therapy concepts for patients with rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, the project will serve as a blueprint for other diseases, including those outside the field of rheumatology, and will support stakeholders such as healthcare professionals in the efficient use of medicines 🤝
